    Player Review

Cobb was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. Easily one of the most athletic Long Snappers in his class. This kid has great hips and can flat out fly down the field. No doubt he will be a true factor on the punt coverage team of any team he is on. He is using his lower half really well. Like to see Cobb widen out a bit to allow his upper body to get through a little easier. Doing this will increase his overall speed a bit more and make him able to drive his elbows more. The more size he gets, the more he will be able to dominate his class and push him up the rankings. Great kid that can easily snap at the next level. Watch him at VEGAS XXXIII as I predicting Cobb puts on an absolute show.

Cobb was impressive during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. His form is excellent and he is a very athletic Long Snapper. Snaps a clean ball that is easy to catch and hovers from the high .7s to low .8s on a pretty consistent basis. As he continues to grow, Cobb neds to make sure he widens out a bit to allow his upper half (especially his eyes) to get through in a clean, quick motion. This will increase his overall accuracy and push his RSI up, consistently, into the 30's and beyond. Kid is good and headed towards great. Putting on size will push him up even more and make colleges drool over Cobb. Watch this Long Snapper throughout the fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Big jump in the rankings and well deserved.

Cobb did very well at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. First off, Cobb might be the best overall athlete in his class. He can absolutely fly downfield and is almost running a sub 5.0 forty and he is only a sophomore. Focusing on making sure he is lining the ball and his feet up straight will help a ton in getting his accuracy. Also, reaching out the ball more will give him more speed and cause the ball to truly whip back to the punter. Two very easy fixes will make Cobb one of, if not the, top Long Snappers in his class. Kid is a flat-out stud and he is head for greatness.

Cobb did very well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. First off, Cobb’s hands are absolute rockets and it can almost be hard to time him. Really want to see him get fully set before he snaps the ball. If he can allow his body to get completely set prior to snapping the ball, he will increase his overall accuracy and push up his RSI. Also, getting his eyes to be as quick as his hands will increase his speed and accuracy. Kid is a stud.

Cobb had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. He had one of top six RSI’s, was the #2 seed and missed being the overall champion by less than a foot. Form is very good and I absolutely love when he is snapping with full power back to the punter. When he just lets the ball rip, it shows me confidence and the ball is excellent. Cobb can easily hit in the .7s when he snaps with all of his power. Locking down his release point and continuing to snap with confidence will be the biggest things I am looking for at VEGAS XXXII in May. Watch him.

Cobb showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. First off, Cobb is one heck of an athlete. Kid can flat out move on his feet and he leaves no doubt that he will be a factor on the punt coverage team. Like to see Cobb narrow his stance down a bit so he can utilize his long legs and great frame. Narrowing down will help increase his overall speed on the ball as well. With his athleticism and frame, he is the type of Long Snapper that can improve very quickly and could dominate at VEGAS XXXII in May.

Cobb did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on November 19th, 2017. Athletic Long Snapper that had no problems anytime I had him move on his feet. No doubt he can be a factor on the punt coverage team. Starting form is good and he uses his lower half pretty darn well for his age. Love to see Cobb focus on making his hands a bit quicker by eliminating any type of hitch he has at the start of the snapping motion. Also, consistency of speed is going to be huge for him moving forward as he prepares to dominate his class at VEGAS XXXI. Hovers in the mid .8s and has very good accuracy. His RSI scores was excellent in NC. He hits that number in Vegas and he could see himself in the finals.
