    Player Review

Shottenkirk showed me some good things during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. Energetic Long Snapper that has improved a ton over the past year. He has done a great job of gaining strength and using all of his body when he is snapping the ball. His pop is excellent and he is snapping with a ton of force. When he drives his eyes through to the punter and makes sure he doesn’t go up instead of back, he snaps an FBS ball. Driving his eyes/head through is the key to greatness for Kaleb. Keep an eye on him this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Shottenkirk showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. He is getting bigger and stronger by the second. Love his attitude and Shottenkirk is always improving. Like to see him focus on making sure that his whole body is straightened out and headed in the right direction back to the punter. At times, Shottenkirk tends to lean heavily one way or the other and this really plays with his accuracy. It will also not allow his strong lower to get the ball back to the punter with full power. Great attitude.

Kaleb had a good overall day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 3rd, 2017. He is growing like a weed and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Strong upper body and he has powerful hands. Starting form is good. Like to see Kaleb trust his overall form and use all of his legs. If he would trust the power of his lower half and not try to oversnap the ball, he would not hitch at all and he would actually get more speed on the ball and be more fluid with his snapping motion. Love how well Kaleb studies Long Snapping and he is close to having it all click. Hard worker.

Kaleb did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping GA summer camp on July 11, 2017. He is getting bigger and stronger which is helping out his snap speed out. Form is coming along nicely and he is beginning to really use his lower half well. Love his improvement on that aspect of his snapping. Like to see Kaleb focus getting his legs fully involved and snapping with full power. That will get his legs locked and get his snap speed under. 90 by this fall in GA and definitely by VEGAS XXXI. Improving his overall athleticism will also help out a ton as well.
