Player Review
Zach did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. I like his overall form and he runs with determination. Through the agility section he was a bit stiff at times but ran downhill and with definite speed. Zach is no doubt an athlete that can snap a ball. His hands are quick and he uses his whole body really well when snapping the ball. Like to see him focus on consistency and making sure his snapping motion is the same with each and every time he snaps the ball. Dripping with potential and could easily find a spot on The TOP 12 Camp roster at VEGAS 30.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .75 VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 4.96 VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 27.71 All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality. RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
