    Player Review
Grayson showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has excellent size and can pass an eyeball test quickly for a college coach. Moved with purpose through the agility section of the weekend and has the ability to be a factor on the punt coverage team for his HS or college. Love to see him work on being smooth with his snapping motion and keep it more fluid. When he is on, it is one motion....when he has a hiccup, it is because he separates his snapping motion into to parts. Making it one will really increase his accuracy and speed to increase his RSI at VEGAS 30 in May. With this slight improvement, he could easily find himself receiving a TOP 12 Camp invite.
    Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .75 VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.43 VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 25.61 All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality. RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
