Player ReviewAguilar showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 5, 2017. When Aguilar is on, he is really on. Consistency of speed and spiral is going to be a big thing I will be watching for come VEGAS 30 in May. Form is good and he is using his body well. Making sure his release point is the same will help greatly with accuracy. Aguilar has all of the tools to make the TOP 12 Camp as long as he can use all of the tools at the same time. Major potential.
Aguilar did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Athletically, he crushed the agility section and left no doubt he is a factor on punt coverage. Form is good and he is using his whole body well. Love to see him focus on making sure he is not overgripping the ball to lock down his spiral and that he continues to gain some size. By VEGAS 30, I would like to see Aguilar pretty darn close to 220 and still move the way he does now. He is good and bordering on great. Easily should compete for a TOP 12 Camp spot in May.
