Player Review
Nate was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. His snapping has come a long, long way and I am really liking what I am seeing from him. Form is excellent and Nate is starting to snap with a lot of confidence. He is getting down and really letting it fly out of his hands. Love that! Leaning back well and using all of his body like a champ. Ball is easily under .80 at 15 yards. The more Nate increases his overall athleticism, the higher he will go up the rankings and the more dominant he will be in college. Hard working Long Snapper with a solid attitude.Nate did well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. I love when he is snapping with full confidence and lets the ball fly out of his hands. Starting form is very good and he is using all of his body really well. His body is getting more toned and that will help with Nate's overall athleticism. Driving his elbows through well and he has good accuracy. Leaning back so he is not falling forward will help with speed and even make him more accurate. Consistency of speed and increasing his overall athleticism is going to be huge for Nate as we move forward in 2019. Slight jump in the rankings.
McCormack showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Thick Long Snapper that has good balance and starting form. Nate is using his whole body well and has a nice, tignt spiral that makes the ball very easy to catch. Like to see him focus on really snapping with full power at all times. Ball is smooth and shows good accuracy. Increasing his overall athleticism will be huge in moving up the rankings and getting fully ready for college. Making sure he can get his 40 under 5.5 will be huge as well as being lighter on his feet. Good attitude and great consistency.
