Cobb did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping NJ Fall Camp on October 8th, 2017. I absolutely love his frame as he looks like a college tight end right now and he still has time left in high school. He moves really well on his feet and will easily be factor on the punt coverage team. Like to see Cobb focus on smoothing out his snapping motion and really getting his lower half fully involved to gain more overall speed on the ball. Right now, Cobb hovers in the low .8s but I know he can easily get to sub .75 by VEGAS XXXI. The potential on this kid is off the charts and he is definitely one to watch. Big jump and well deserving.Cobb is a very smooth Long Snapper that did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS 30 Event on May 13-14, 2017. Great frame and I like his attitude. Solid upside on Cobb. Love to see him increase the quickness of the ball getting out of the gate to increase his overall speed. Really whipping his elbows through will help with speed and accuracy to raise his RSI at the next Rubio Long Snapping camp this summer. Being quicker with his hands at the start of the snapping motion and out of the gate when running will help a ton. Upside is strong on Cobb.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80.
