Player Review
Leslie showed me some good things during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. One of the best attitudes in his class. He is always smiling and always learning. His overall form is very good and he is really starting to use all of his body extremely well. He now has the ability to get the ball back to the punter sub .82 and even dip into the .7s when he really lets the ball fly out of his hands. Great improvement. Need to see Leslie focus on snapping with the utmost confidence and not overgripping the ball. When he snaps hard, he tends to grip hard as well and that will play with his spiral. He is coming along very nicely and I am looking forward to seeing him this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January.Leslie did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 3rd, 2017. Big fan of Leslie's attitude and how he is always improving from camp to camp. Leslie is using his whole body pretty darn well and I like how he is starting to snap with more confidence. Need to see Leslie focus on increasing the speed/timing of his legs to equal that of his uppr body. If he can get his timing down, his speed will get under .80 sooner than later. Big fan of his Leslie and his overall demeanor.
Leslie showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in GA on July 11, 2017. He is a thcik Long Snapper tih some good power. His form is solid and Leslie is using his whole body really well. Getting his butt down a bit more prior to the snap and getting his back parallel to the ground will help his overall speed. Leslie hovers in the mid .8s but could easily be below .80 by fall camps. Great attitude and always improving. I love how Leslie is always smiling out on the field.
