Player Review
Simmons showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 5, 2017. He is solid on is feet and has a nice, strong frame. Starting form is good and he uses his whole body well. I would love to see him focus on making sure he is hitting the same release point at all times and that is spiral is locked down. His movement when he snaps is VERY quick and the ball jumps out of the gate really well. Good potential and always improving. Very solid attitude.Simmons did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Starting form is good and he has solid balance. Nice work in getting his hands out of the gate quickly and sending them all the way back to the punter. Like to see Simmons focus on really driving his eyes/head through quicker with no pauses to get more accuracy and speed. Also, trusting his good form and just letting the ball fly out of his hands will be huge for his speed. CONFIDENCE in himself and his snapping motion will be huge come March 5th in CA and at VEGAS 30. He has all of the tools...he just needs to use them.
