Player Review

I was very impressed with Stover at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX EVENT on January 14-15, 2017. Kid is a pure athlete that destroyed the agility section of the weekend. Ball is very quick and he has no issues getting under .75 with good consistency. Love to see Stover lock down his spiral and put on some size over the next couple of months. Bottom line is that Stover is very good and could easily do this in college. Coaches should be on him right now. He can snap.

Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
