Player Review
Hoover showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in NC on March 13, 2016. He is an athletic Long Snapper with very good balance and accuracy. Love to see him push his heels out a bit so he goes straight back instead of straight inside (which will slow him down). Also, locking down his spiral will help break into the .7s and make the ball more catchable. Listens well.Hoover did well at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NC. He has excellent follow through and practically hands the ball to the punter. Needs to focus on making sure he gets his lower half involved for max speed. Slow motion drills will help to ensure he is using his whole body to gain velocity on the ball. I like his attitude and he learns quickly. Expect him to do well at VEGAS.
Hoover showed me some really good things at the Rubio Long Snapping summer camp in NC. He is built well and has quick hands. Couple quick fixes will really move him way up the charts. Need to see him widen out a bit and flatten his back to get his starting stance down the right way. Also, love to see him not adjust his left hand on the ball prior to the snap so the ball will be a tight spiral as it travels back to the punter. Strong hands that muscle the ball back there right now well. Good potential.
