Player Review
Bonish showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVII Event on January 21-22, 2016. TREMENDOUS athlete that can fly down the field and cuts on a dime. MAJOR factor in punt coverage. Starting form is VERY good and he can snap the ball with some solid zip back to the punter. Love to see him increase his size a bit and make sure he is always going straight back to the punter. At times, he can go up first and then back...this cause issues with his speed and even spiral. TONS of upside. Great demeanor.I really liked what I saw out of Bonish at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NJ. He is, EASILY, one of the most athletic Long Snappers in his class. Kid can flat out fly down field and does a great job moving laterally. He can dominate a camp when he catches a groove. Love to see him work on being more explosive with his lower half to create more power and speed on the ball. Already can get it in the .7s but I want to see him lock down the .6s in VEGAS.
