Player Review
Halper did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in IL on April 23, 2017. First off, the kid can absolutely fly down field and will, undoubtedly, be a factor on the punt coverage team. His form is solid and he is using his whole body well. Would love to see him make sure he is always following through with his fingers to ensure his spiral is locked down at VEGAS 30. The more size he gets, the more dominant he becomes. Spiral and size will be key as we continue to move forward. Hard worker.
Halper had a really good weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. First off, Halper is easily one of the top athletes in his class and can absolutely fly down the field. He had the fastest 40 time on Sunday and looked effortless while doing it. Pure athlete. If he can lock down his release point to increase his accuracy and raise his RSI, he could easily be in the TOP 12 Camp after VEGAS 30. Ball is quick and he will have all the tools a college coach wants once he gets some more size on his frame. Kid is good.
