Player Review
Liked what I saw from Bleu at VEGAS XXVI in May. Large, strong man with tons of upside. Powerful hands that really do a good job of getting the ball back to the punter. Making sure his hands are a bit quicker and that he gets his legs fully involved will increase the speed of his ball. Faster snaps will move him up the rankings. Good attitude.Removing the slight hand hitch will help a ton with his overall speed and get him into the .7s on a consistent basis. Very good attitude and he improves quickly.
Like the direction Bleu is headed with his Long Snapping. Showed me some great things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in CA. Love to see him lower his butt bit more to eliminate the leg hitch he has that will cue the defender when to go. Very strong hands. If he can get his weight going back and really let the ball fly, he will move up a ton at VEGAS XXVI. Good potential.
Bleu showed some good things at VEGAS XXV. He is a large man that is built very long. Does a good job really reaching all the way back when snapping to the punters. Needs to bring the ball a bit closer and make sure his hands are quicker so there is no hitch at all. That will really help out the speed of the ball. Locking down the spiral will help a ton as well. Athletically, he moved with energy but needs to make sure he is a bit more fluid on his feet when going forward and laterally. Sitting on a gold mine due to his frame. Type of Long Snapper that could improve quickly if he works hard AND smart over the next couple of months.
