I was really impressed with Karson at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX EVENT on January 14-15, 2017. He snaps one of the smoothest balls in his class and lives in The Rubio Zone. His RSI is very high which shows he has great speed AND accuracy. Body is long and he has room to really mature up in the next couple of years. Karson is very good and just going to get better and better. He had a great weekend in Vegas.

Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
