Player Review

Castro did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in IL on April 23, 2017. He is really starting to come of age and was snapping with good consistency. He has the ability to hit in the high .6s and if he can get his butt a bit lower, he could easily even get the ball faster back to the punter. The more athletic he gets, the better he will be in college. Great upside and a college coach is going to love his demeanor.

Dylan was impressive at VEGAS XXIX on January 14-15, 2017. Thick Long Snapper with good power throughout his body. Leaning down a bit and is beginning to do a good job on passing an eye ball test. A college strength coach is going to mold him perfectly over the next four to five years. Ball is tight and he has excellent consistency. Every single snap is the same over and over and over again. Focusing on increasing his athleticism and making sure he is not running too tall will really push him up the rankings ladder. Great kid and will be a solid locker room player.

Accomplishments

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
