Player Review
Royal had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in WA on April 24, 2016. He is a large Long Snapper that can pass an eyeball test very quickly. Moves well on his feet and is beyond accurate. Love his consistency. He can dip into the .7s when he really lets the ball fly out of his hands. Snapping with confidence and getting his lower half more involved will easily take him into the .7s and have him dominate college. Great attitude.Royal showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in TX. He can pass an eyeball test quickly and is, easily, one of the smoothest Long Snappers in his class. Hands are quick and he shows good accuracy. Locking down his spiral and getting a bit more pop on the ball will be key. The harder he simply snaps the ball, the better he will do in the long run. Great attitude and tons of upside. One to watch.
Speed has come a long way. Was consistently in the mid 7s and even dipped below 75 a few times. Form is almost there, still struggles with locking his legs out in time/quick enough when ball is passing instep. Has decent frame that can put more weight on. Growing out of his awkwardness, but still there. Very tight spiral
Royal had another productive camp at VEGAS XXVI in May. VERY fluid and consistent Long Snapper that does a great job of getting his upper body all the way through. Once his legs are involved (slow motion drills will help a ton), he will really increase the speed of his ball. Just a tad more speed will push him way up the rankings. Works hards and moves forward, athletically, with ease. Good attitude.
Really liked what I saw from Royal at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX and IL. He has a great frame and is one of the smoothest Long Snappers in his class. Needs to make sure he follows through and snaps the ball with full power on all punt snaps. Form is good and he needs to trust it. VERY good potential. Keep a very close eye on him at VEGAS XXVI.
When he snaps with full power, he is dominant. Plain and simple.
Accomplishments

RSI VEGAS XXVI: 20.91
(Please note: RSI is the Rubio Standard Index. RSI is the time snap time divided by their score on the Target. Bonus points can be earned for faster snap times. The higher the score, the better the Long Snapper did on the Target)
