Player Review

Hantz continues to impress and showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVIII Event on May 21-22, 2016. He is a large man that will flat out dominate once his consistency is fully locked down. Powerful Long Snapper that is using his whole body really well. Love to see him work on simply making sure his release point is the same on every snap. Bungee drill will help to ensure his fingers come back to the same spot on every, single, snap. If he can do this, he will score at least a 30 in January. Ball speed is solid and will be better when he fully trusts his snaps and lets the ball fly. VERY good attitude. Coachable. Hantz did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in FL on May 7, 2016. He is a strong Long Snapper with good form that can really get the ball back to the punter. Need to see him focus on GETTING SET at all times. When he doesn’t rush himself, he is off the charts. All up to him. Hantz did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVII Event on January 21-22, 2016. He is a very big and strong Long Snapper that can put some good speed on the ball at times. Smooth Long Snapper that is right on the cusp of greatness. Love to see him focus on leading with his elbows to create more whip on the ball. Also, increasing his athleticism will help a ton getting downfield and getting him involved on punt coverage. Speed of his snap and speed of his body will move him up the rankings VERY quickly.
