Player Review
Incredible performance for Shannon at the FBU TOP GUN camp where he earned an invite to the Army All-American game. He is motivated and on fire.Shannon showed me some excellent raw power and snapping ability at VEGAS XXVI in May. Kid is VERY strong and snaps the ball with as speed as I have seen in some time. Form is very good. Like to see him focus on really locking down his spiral. Lay down drills will help a ton with that and really get him back on track. If his spiral is locked down, he can easily be the top kid in his class. Consistency will be key as we head into the TOP 12 and EVENT ELITE camp.
Kid is flat out a stud. Notre Dame got lucky to get him. Locking down his spiral and his release point will make him one of the all time greats.
Shannon had an overall solid weekend at VEGAS XXV. Kid snaps with as much power as anyone I have ever worked with in over a decade. The ball explodes out his hands towards the punter. Uses his whole, strong, body really well. Love to see him speed up the set up process a bit yet still manage to get set at the final stage. That will make him darn near perfect. Athletically, he moves with purpose and runs very hard. Lateral movement is excellent. Like to see him control his body a bit more by VEGAS XXVI. He is ready NOW for the next level.
