Player Review
Cody did really well at VEGAS XXVI in May. Moves extremely well on his feet and is able to go to a school RIGHT NOW. One of those Long Snappers that does better as times goes by. Snaps a good, catchable ball with a tight spiral. Needs to make sure he is driving his chest and head through for more speed and power. Not being stiff will help a ton. Tons of potential.Cody is one of the most athletic Long Snappers in his class. Moves very well on his feet, no matter what he is doing. His hands are extremely quick. He gets the ball out of the gate as well as anyone else in the country. Love to see him focus on getting fully set and making sure he is going back instead of just straight up. This will increase the speed of the ball and keep him in the low .7s to even .6s over the course of a day.
Cody did extremely well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Event in Las Vegas. Needed to widen his stance out just a tad after January Vegas so he could get his body though a bit better and speed up his snaps, and he did just that. Looked very sharp and accurate in Vegas. His confidence is definitely rising. Kid runs like wind and is very athletic. Need to see him continue to fine tune his form and get his legs fully involved so the ball never dies on the way back to the punter. Cody is a workhorse. 5/14
