    Player Review
    Rubio Long Snapping History

    Student Since: 2010

    Latest Evaluation: 7/12

Jake, when he snaps with confidence, is absolutely phenomenal. Form is darn near perfect and he has thickened up in the right way. Strong Long Snapper that is very accurate. Letting the ball go and trusting his form will make him a dominant Long Snapper like I know he can be. Best I have seen him look in North Carolina. Dominant is how I would describe him. Work horse.

HERE WE GO JAKE! Confidence was overflowing in Vegas and I loved watching it. Snapping the ball very hard and seemed very relaxed. Almost non-chalant about the process. Great sign as he heads into college. Body is thick and strong. Blocking is improving and his eyes are getting through well....hence the increased speed and accuracy. Made it to the finals round. Really like the direction Jake is headed. Love the confidence...can't say it enough.

Abraham continues to be a very solid Long Snapper. Body is thick and powerful now. Ball is smooth and on target. Made it all the way to the finals round in GA and lost by an inch. When he really drives his head through and leads with his elbows, he is flat out great. Those are the two biggest issues as of right now and both are easily fixable. Excellent personality and a smart, hard worker.  4/12

Here we go Abraham! Came out to Vegas very confident and it definitely showed with his snapping. Ball was moving as fast as I have ever seen it coming out of his hands. Really was popping and it was apparent with his snap times. Almost shocked me a couple times when I was timing him. He is getting back well to block and just needs to work on getting down field a bit quicker and getting his head up after the snap just a tad faster. Looked very good all weekend. Love it when he is loose and snapping. Excellent person. Very, very coachable.  1/12

Bigger. Confident. Smooth. Those are words to describe Jake right now. Thicker through the chest and it is paying off with his snapping. Very good initial pop. Blocking is coming along nicely. Need to get his legs completely locked and timed up perfectly with his upper body for pure dominance. I have no doubt that he will work on it until Vegas. Improves each and every time I see him in action. Pretty impressive accomplishment.  7/11

Jake is becoming very confident with his Long Snapping. Form is excellent and he is getting longer and leaner with more muscle. Physically, he is looking much more mature. His accuracy is extremely solid and he follows through well. Eyes can be a tad slow at times and his legs could get some pop, but he is very good overall Long Snapper in the long run. Excellent personality and he listens very well. Very coacheable. 5/11

Jake has grown by leaps and bounds with his Long Snapping. Form is becoming terrific and he uses his size very well. Used to have major issues with lack of legs and balance. Both of those are quickly becoming obsolete. Shows excellent pop. Once he completely grasps not sliding the ball and locks down his blocking, he will move up the ranks even more. Listens extremeley well, learns quickly and is strong.

Jake continues to improve. Very solid form and accuracy. Uses his body well. Slight issue with dragging the ball which slows it down and making sure he gets his eyes through QUICKLY. Once those two aspects of his snapping are fixed he will be moving well up. Huge jump for him recently (20 spots).  When he snaps hard, he is great. Trust in the form and we are golden.

Jake continues to improve and look very comfortable amongst the other Long Snappers and under pressure. With strength and size will come speed. Form is solid and his legs are coming along nicely. Once Jake gets them completely locked and popping with full force, he will reveal a ton of speed. Eyes have a tendency to be a bit slow at times, but he seems past that so his accuracy is right on track. Great human being with a solid personality.
