Compton just continues to improve and impress me. Only gained five pounds but looks much different. Built like a strong man instead of an average high school Long Snapper. Very strong when he snaps. Almost too strong at times since he needs to lighten up his fingers a tad to ensure his spiral is there. Gets back after the snap well and moves down the field smoothly after he blocks. Pretty impressed with him and he will move up in the rankings. Explodes when he snaps. Listens well.

Jake looked much better in the summer than in the spring in Dallas. Really looking comfortable and snapping the ball with authority. Solid attitude and he moves well. When he is on, he is very on. Ball is accurate and smooth. Blocking is coming along. Needs a bit of weight and to really fine tune his blocking. Good kid.

Jake has very good form and an extremely solid body. Was a show on PATs at the competition section of the Nike Spring Camp in TX. Snaps a very hard and strong ball. Solid athleticism. Working on spiral and blocking will be key. Great attitude.

Jake is a very athletic Long Snapper with a solid personality. Shows good promise and learns quickly. Strong. Form is great. Has a tendency to jump up just slightly and get off the ground. In doing so, he loses a lot of power and speed which he can have because of his great frame and strength. Moves very well and his follow through is excellent. Getting close to be a top dog within his class.
