Knox Dean had a great weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Super Showcase on July 12-14. Knox is a very personable long snapper with a great attitude. His personality is off the charts which is really rare for a long snapper his age. He’s already locked down the basics of his starting form and does a fanatic job getting his legs extended. Follow through is very solid and spiral was consistent throughout the weekend. A long snapper that progressed really well throughout the weekend. As he starts to really work on his hand quickness and sitting on his heels after the snap he is going to be one of the top long snappers in his class. Ton of upside on Knox and I cannot wait to see him at the next Rubio Long Snapping Camp in his area. Knox looked really good in Seattle. He has a great attitude for someone his age, and is eager to learn and get better. Getting his legs locked out all the way and trusting his form will do wonders for this kid. He has a fairly good frame for a 2029 snapper as well. Really excited to see the heights he can raech as he progresses. VERY high 3.0 star!!!
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.2024 WA Fall Camp RSI - 7.69
