David Smith was great at Vegas XLIV on May 4-5. David is EXTREMELY athletic. Moves very well on his feet and really dominated the agility course during the weekend. He can flat out fly in any direction and is going to be very valuable on a punt coverage team. He has really quick hands that cause the ball to get back to the punter in a hurry. When he is able to drive his hands and chest back to the punter consistently he is really impressive. Spiral improved a ton since the last time I saw him which shows me that he is working very hard. Snaps a very fast ball that averages in the low to mid .7’s throughout the weekend. Potential is through the roof for David and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him climb up the rankings here very soon. Locking down his consistency pushes him to the top and I am excited to see him in Idaho this July! Right on the cusp of 4.5
