Malakai Rubio was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on October 29th, 2023. First off, he has a very long frame that has room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. When he is on, Rubio (no relation) is very on and can easily snap a college level ball back to the punter. The quicker he is at the start of his snapping motion with no wasted movements, the more dominant Rubio will be at VEGAS XLIII in January and beyond. Really good upside on this Long Snapper who could be snapping for a long time if he puts in the right work.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
