Matthew Emery was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 18th, 2023. Starting form is good and Matthew snaps the ball with a lot of power. He can pass an eyeball test quickly and he has a nice athletic frame. Locking down his spiral. It's gonna help with snap speed as the ball a slice through the wind. Getting his eyes through will help with accuracy and speed. I really want to see Matthew focus on slow motion drills in order to get his lower half fully involved Right now he kind of hops back, so if he can just make sure that he is using his legs and not hopping, he will be at college level speeds within two years easily. Great upside, and I look forward to seeing them at Vegas this May.
