Player Review
Preston Mayer was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 12th, 2023. Good starting form. It'll be great if he widens out to allow his massive chest to get all the way through. Preston is a large Long Snapper with lots of power throughout his body, and I wanna make sure he uses all of it. The first thing I want to make sure is that he focuses on his spiral by doing lay down drills. His pop is pretty good and he's very physically strong. Slow motion drills, at about 5 yards away, will really help out his overall snapping motion. He has a major advantage simply for the fact he is so large and strong. Good start and I look forward to seeing him soon.
