Makani Mamic showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 12th, 2023. His starting form is good and he's got very quick hands. I really like his balance as he's not falling forward after the snap. The big thing is going to be focusing just on slow motion drills and not going past about 5 yards right now. He's just starting, so there's no need to go past 5 yards. Locking down a spiral is going to be easy with lay down drills and it'll really help out his overall snapping the ball to the punter. Good quick hands and some solid explosion. Just needs to tie it all together and really focus on slow motion drills.
