Player Review
Mason Lundy was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on March 5th, 2023. Mason has excellent starting form as his back is parallel to the ground and a very smooth snapping motion. His upper body gets through like a champ and a spiral is very tight. The ball is super easy to catch for the punter as it practically sticks to his hands. Love to see Mason focus on slow motion drills in order to get his lower half fully involved in his snapping motion. Right now, he's only using his upper body, so he's only getting half of his power on his snaps. Getting his whole body involved will stop the ball from dying 3/4 of the way back and allow his snaps to drive through the punter. Very good start, and I look forward to seeing him progress over the next couple years. Lots of potential on Mason and you want to keep an eye on him at Vegas in May.
