Player Review
Chase Brackney showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Dallas, TX. on October 30th, 2022. He has a great frame and definitely has the ability to pass an eyeball test from a college coach. His starting form is good and his hands are really quick back to the punter. Chase has some solid balance and does a good job of leaning back. Once Chase’s timing is locked down, he will be snapping well under .75 at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond. Slow motion drills will help a ton make sure his legs and upper body are synced up. His upper body is so quick (great problem to have) that it can be well ahead of his lower half and that will slow down Chase’s snap speeds. Should be a quick fix for this Long Snapper with great upside.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
