Player Review
Joshua Neirby was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! He has good form, a really smooth delivery of the snap and his snaps are very easy to catch. Huge fan of how well he dominated the agility section of the Vegas Event on Sunday. Neirby bends well and does a great job of running down hill with every step. Moves on his feet with a lot of aggression and I love it. The harder that Neirby snaps the ball and trusts his good form, the more dominant he will be at the next level. Trusting himself and snapping with confidence to gain more speed on the ball is a huge key for Neirby. Solid personality that should do well at the next level.Neirby did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on October 2nd, 2022. He has a very good fame and his starting form is gorgeous. His balance is solid and Neirby is able to use his whole body really well when snapping the ball. Locking down his spiral will increase the catchability and speed of his punt snaps. Also, getting his timing in synch will drastically increase the overall speed on the ball. Very good athlete that might have the potential to play two positions in college. Slow motion drills will help a ton and get him to flat out dominate at VEGAS XLI in January.
Neirby was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. He has a good attitude and is a super coachable Long Snapper with a nice upside. Making sure he is going straight back and not up and then back, will increase his overall speed. Strong Long Snapper with powerful hands that is really close to using his whole body perfectly to get the ball back to the punter. He is right on the cusp of dominating. Slow motion drills will be huge for Neirby as he moves to the next level. He is right there. Nice jump in the rankings for this Long Snapper from the Northwest.
