Konner Hawkins did extremely well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 12th, 2023. How well you might ask? Well, he ended up winning the whole camp! Obviously, winning any Rubio Long Snapping camp is impressive but doing it as a freshman is beyond impressive. Konner's starting form is excellent and when he is on, he is very on. He obviously has great poise under pressure and is extremely accurate. When he won the camp it was not a fluke. He was nailing threes and twos the entire time. His spiral is tight and his ball is easy to catch. The more he locks down his overall timing between his upper and lower half, the faster his ball will go. Continuing to gain size and strength is going to be huge for Konner as he advances towards the college level. Hard-working, Long Snapper that could end up going very deep in the finals at Vegas this May, if not winning the whole thing.Konnner Hawkins was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Konner has excellent starting form and his balance is perfect. Upper body gets through extremely well and he snaps one of the smoothest balls in his class. If his legs can increase their speed just a bit he will easily be snapping a college level ball by May Vegas. Right now, his upper body is just a tad quicker than his lower half, so the timing is just a little bit off. Athletically his smooth and moves well on his feet. I just want to make sure he presses the gas and goes full speed at all times. His form and snap emotion look like a college freshman, not a high school freshman.
