James Sessoms showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on November 13th, 2022. He is a thick Long Snapper with good power. His upper body gets through like an absolute champ as he practically hands the ball to the punter. His snaps are smooth and extremely catchable when his spiral is locked down. I would love to see James focus on slow motion drills in order to get his lower half fully involved in his snapping motion. Right now, James is only using his upper body and still gets some decent speed on the ball. If he gets his whole body going, he will be able to really dominate his class at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
