Player Review
Ross Rambo was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLII Event on May 6-7th. Smooth Long Snapper with super quick hands that have the ball jumps out of the gate well. Balance is good and Ross is close to using his whole body like a champ. Driving his elbows will create more whip and speed on the ball. Slow motion drills will help a ton to make this come to fruition. Athletically, he moves with a purpose and runs downhill. Love his aggression and the lower he can keep his hips, the more dominant he will be on the punt coverage team. Love his attitude and I am excited to see Ross at the TOP GUN camp in FL and/or the Rising Seniors Camp on July 15-16 in Los Angeles Ross Rambo did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 18th, 2023. Hey, he is a very smooth Long Snapper that snaps a nice clean crisp ball. Starting form is good and it'll be great if he can lower his butt just a tad so his back is parallel to the ground. This will illuminate the tiny butt hitch. he has right when he starts snapping motion and it'll get his snap speeds well under .75 sooner than later. The spiral is off the charts and no punter should ever complain about the catchability of his snaps. The harder he snaps the ball, the better Ross does in the long run. Very good Long Snapper with a good upside. Looking forward to seeing him at Vegas in May. If he snaps the way I know he can, he could be pushing for a TOP 12 Camp spot.
