Player Review

Carson Weed did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in IL on April 14th, 2024. First off, he has a super long frame with room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. Second, his personality is very solid and his college coach will like him on and off the field. Starting form is great and his follow through is off the charts. Weed is doing a good job of working on getting his long legs involved which is giving him some very solid speed on the ball. Smooth Long Snapper that is right on the cusp of greatness. When he removes any wasted movement at the start of his snapping motion and locks down his spiral, Weed can easily be one of the top Long Snappers at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5. Carson Weed was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLIII Event on January 13-14, 2024. He has a great frame with room to put on some good size over the next couple of years. Excellent personality that his coach will like on and off the field. Great follow through back to the punter as he practically hands the ball to the punter. Weed might have the best and longest follow through in his class. When he is able to get his long legs fully involved, he is able to snap a college level ball. Great upside and very close to a 4.5 when his speed moves up just a tad.
