Player Review
Carter Rasin was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Thick and strong Long Snapper that can get very hot and dominate his class. Carter is very smooth with his snapping and on his feet. His form is good and it is great when he comes straight back to the punter and doesn't go up first, then back. When he drives his butt and legs straight back, his snap speeds are drastically increased. Athletically, Carter is able to move well for being a larger/more powerful Long Snapper and the more he presses the gas, the more he will crush it on the punt coverage team. Very solid personality and the type of Long Snapper that will do well on the field and in the locker room.
Carter Raisin showed me a lot of good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on October 16th, 2022. He is a large Long Snapper that has the ability to snap with a lot of power. His starting form is good and will be excellent when he gets fully set. Getting fully set will great increase his overall accuracy and consistency. Carter has improved a ton with using his whole body to gain more overall speed not he ball. Locking down his spiral and making sure he is driving his elbows all the way through (not hitting his thighs) will increase his overall speed (plus not impact his spiral). Really good attitude on this well rounded Long Snapper from Delaware.
Rasin showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. Big and powerful Long Snapper that is super coachable. The less he thinks when he is over the ball, the better Rasin does with his snapping. When he is on, he is very on. Driving his head all the way through to the punter in one, quick motion will greatly increase his overall accuracy and speed. Massive amount of potential and he has all of the tools to be snapping at the next level. Good attitude.
Carter Rasin did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022. He is a big and strong Long Snapper that has all of the tools to be one of the greats. His follow through is solid and he reaches back to the punter very well. Love to see Carter focus on slow motion drills to get his large lower half fully involved. Getting his butt and legs going will drastically increase his speed at the Rising Seniors Camp and beyond. Hard working Long Snapper with lots of potential.
