Player Review
Carter Owen was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLII Event on May 6-7th. His frame is fantastic and he is extremely smooth on his feet. Pure athlete that makes everything effortless. When he gets his hips down just a tad, he is one of the most fluid athletes in his class. Starting form is great and he is explosive with his snapping movements. Really powerful human being that snaps a great ball. Locking down his spiral and getting his eyes all of the way through each time, will allow him to dominate his class.Carter Owen did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 18th, 2023. Turn his starting form is fantastic and Carter does a great job of using his entire body when he stopped in the ball. His spiral is tight and it snaps are very easy to catch for the punter. He snaps Smoove ball. The more Carter can get his eyes and head through to the punter, the more he will increase his overall speed and accuracy. This is a simple fix that will pay off big time in the end for Carter. He has a ton of upside and can be snapping the ball for a long time if he continues to work on his craft. Keep a very close eye on him at Vegas in May. If he snaps the way, I know he can snap he could easily earn a TOP 12 camp spot.
