Maddox Smith showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 18th, 2023. I hit starting form is very good, and his balance is solid. I love how much aggression he snaps with, as it looks like he's basically trying to hurt the putter which I love. He's able to use his lower half pretty darn well, which gives him some good speed on the ball. The more Maddox can get his eyes all the way through to the putter, the more accuracy and speed he will get on the ball. Slow motion drills will help a lot and really pay off in the end. Looking forward to seeing him at VEGAS XLII on May 6-7th.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
