Player Review
Casen McMullen was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Large Long Snapper that is easily big/strong enough to play two postiions in college at a smaller school. Really powerful Long Snapper that has all of the tools to snap at the next level. His ball can be super easy to catch. When Casen gets down and really lets the ball fly, he can put a hole in the punter and I am all for it. Massive upside on this hard working Long Snapper from Texas. The more Casen improves his overall athleticism, the more dominant he will be at the next leve. Type of Long Snapper that can be playing for a long time.
Casen McMullen showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in IL on December 11th, 2022. First off, this kid is a flat out monster and can pass an eyeball test from a mile away. Big and strong enough to possibly play two positions in college. Starting form is good and it will be great if Casen can lower his butt to get his back to parallel to the ground. This will allow Casen to use his massive legs to gain more power. Locking down his spiral (most likely overgripping the ball since he is so strong) will increase his overall speed and catchability. Great upside on this kid and definitely one to watch at VEGAS XLI in January!
Casen McMullen did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Dallas, TX. on October 30th, 2022. He ended up making the finals round as one of the top six RSI scores at the camp. Cases is a monster of a human being that can easily pass an eyeball test from a college coach. He is so big and strong, Casen might be able to play two positions in college. His starting form is good and Caden is able to use his whole body really well when snapping the ball back to the punter. He is so powerful that he can overpower his grip at times and that will play with his spiral. Locking down his spiral and his consistency of speed will be what I am focused on at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond
