Player Review

Marshall Box showed me some good things at the TOP 12 Camp in July. Long and lean Long Snapper with room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. The harder he snaps the ball, the better he does. Gaining size and snapping with full power is the key to Box and his greatness. Raw talent that works very hard.

Marshall Box was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLII Event on May 6-7th. He is built long and has room to grow by about 50 lbs over the next couple of years. Pure athlete that crushed the agility section of the weekend. Box can flat out fly on his feet and will easily be a factor on the punt coverage team. Making sure his timing is locked down will be huge for gaining more overall speed on the ball. Getting his snaps under .75 will be the key to his greatness and with his overall length, he could easily do it by going straight back and synching his upper and lower half. Love his attitude and he has the tools to snap at the next level. 

Marshall Box did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC/GA on March 18 / 19th, 2023. Starting form is very good and I love how aggressive Marshall is right now with a snapping. He's been working his tail off over the past couple months and it is paying off. When he is on, he is very, very on. Spiral is tight and his ball is easy to catch. The more he can continue to focus on getting his entire body involved and getting his eyes all the way through, the more he will simply not mess. He obviously handles pressure really well and he's accurate Long Snapper as you can tell by his RS I score. I love his attitude, and his kid is one of the hardest workers in his class. His consistent top RSI scores show his greatness. 

Marshall Box was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on March 5th, 2023. His RSI continues to rise so you know he has been really working on his overall accuracy. His starting form is excellent, and I love how much anger/rage he snaps with. Looks like he's trying to snap the ball through the punter and not to the punter, which I absolutely think is fantastic. When he gets his eyes all the way through and in one quick motion, Box does not miss. His legs are almost timed up perfectly and when they are. Snap speeds are at college level. Locking down his timing is going to be huge for box, moving up the rankings and getting himself to the next level. When he is on, Box is very on. I love his overall attitude and I can't wait to see him it may Vegas. Consistency of his dominance is what I am really looking for at the next camp from Box. He CAN do this and do it well. Confidence in himself and his ability is going to be huge. 

Marshall Box did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Super dedicated Long Snapper that has been known to drive through the night to make it to a camp. His frame is solid and he has room to put on some good size over the next couple of years. His athleticism is extremely good as he destroyed the agility station in Vegas and pretty much anything that involved being on his feet. Box can flat out fly and left no doubt he should be a factor on the punt coverage team. Locking down his spiral and making sure he is snapping the ball first before he takes off will be the big thing to watch for this spring and beyond. Great attitude.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
