Carlson Becker did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! First off, this kid is a pure athlete that basically floated through the agility section of the weekend in Vegas. He looked like he was barely even trying and absolutely crushed anything we asked him to do athletically. Bottom line, Carlson is really good on his feet. His accuracy and consistency are solid. He can snap at college level speeds with times right around .75 and maybe a tad higher. The less Carlson thinks, the better he will do in the long run. Really good upside and he has the tools to do very well in college!
Carlson showed some very impressive ability at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in New Jersey on December 18, 2022. He does a nice job using his entire body, which helps him generate solid power. He also holds his finish very well. I would love to see him get his eyes through more as to help his hands finish deeper and keep his torso through his legs. This should address his occasional tendency to miss low. Once he does this and consistently gets his butt set prior to launch, he is going to become very consistent with extremely quick times. Carlson could be a force come Vegas XLI in January.
Carlson was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022. He has a nice, long frame with room to put on some lbs over the next couple of years. He is smooth with his snapping motion and when he moves on his feet. His upside is off the charts. The harder and more aggressive he does everything, the more dominant he will be. Very smooth Long Snapper that has all of the tools to be one of the greats in his class. I am telling you, keep an eye on Carlson. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him dominate the Rising Seniors Camp!
