    Player Review

VEGAS XXXVII (January, 2021) Player Reviews are above on the YouTube video.

Daniel Scherer had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on December 5th, 2020. He has a long frame and room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. His consistency was on fire all day with snap times in the mid to low .7s! His form is great and he was snapping the ball with very little wasted movement. I could easily tell that Daniel has been working his tail off and it is paying off. His accuracy was solid. The harder he snaps the ball, the more he will crush it at VEGAS XXXVII in January. Really liking the direction Daniel is headed and I know he can do this in college as long as he keeps putting on some more size. VERY good attitude.

Daniel was beyond solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp in Texas on July 11-12, 2020. He has a nice, long frame and shows good muscular potential plus I know he can put on some weight over the next couple of years. Form is good and the more he just realizes to let his body do the work instead of trying to oversnap, his ball will easily be in the .7s. When I was working with Daniel one on one at the camp, he quickly fixed the issue and was throwing pearls back to the punter. Very quick learner and obviously coachable. Great personality and his college coach will like him a lot.

Daniel did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in Texas on June 14th, 2020. He is athletic and has a frame that will be able to put on about fifty lbs over the next couple of years. Smooth Long Snapper that is coachable and I love his personality. His snap speeds hover in the upper .8s and will be easily in the .7s if he can focus on exploding out of the gate. The more he really focuses on snap with more aggression and, basically rage, the more dominant he will be over the next couple of years. I like his attitude and upside.

Scherer showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 17, 2019. He is a long athlete with a frame that could easily put on some good weight over the next couple of years. His pop from his lower half is solid and Scherer is able to get into the .7s with good consistency. Like to see him lower his butt a bit more to gain more power from his legs. Doing that and locking down his release point to improve his accuracy will push him into the top tiers of Long Snappers at VEGAS XXXV in January.
