Player Review
Thomas Lee showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 7, 2020. Large Long Snapper with good power throughout his body. He is able to use his whole body really and his legs are looking good with his snaps. Locking down his spiral will increase his speeds to the low .7s at VEGAS XXXVI in May. Speeding his hands a bit will also help to get him fully ready for the next level. Lots and lots of upside on Lee.
Thomas Lee was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. He has a great frame and is definitely strong for a Long Snapper. Big man that was able to snap a catchable ball that hovered in the high .7s all day long in GA. Form is good and he is powerful. The more Lee can lock down his consistency and release point, the better he will do at VEGAS XXXV in January. When Lee is on, he is very on and has all of the tools to be one of the greats in his class. Tremendous upside. Big jump, watch this kid in VEGAS
Lee was very impressed with Thomas and what he showed at the Rubio Long Snapping Regional Camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019. Ball really jumps back to the punter with a tight spiral and good accuracy. Two things I would like to see him work on: first he has a slight hitch, picking the ball up and then going back. Two, would like to see him shift his weight back in his stance - knees are currently tracking over his toes and shifting his weight back will make his snapping motion even quicker. Tons of upside on Thomas and cannot wait to see him compete at Vegas XXXV and future Rubio Long Snapping events!
