Wendt did really well at The Rubio Long Snapping Underclassmen Invitational in Texas on July 16-17, 2020. First off, I need to tell you that his hand's are like rockets and the ball jumps out of the gate. He can almost be hard to time his ball starts so quickly. Reaches back well and his follow through is great. I would love to see Wendt focus a bit more on speeding up his legs a tad to gain even more speed. His timing is almost there and he is on the cusp of greatness. Love the direction Wendt is heading and can't wait to see him soon!
Wendt had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on April 7th, 2019. He has really quick hands and the ball jumps out of the gate very well. His speeds can hover anywhere between .75 to .90. The more consistent his speed gets, the higher up his ranking will be in the long run. His pop is good and he is getting solid use of his legs. If Wendt can lower his butt to get his back to parallel to the ground, he will hover in the low .8s to high .7s at VEGAS XXXiV in May. Great kid. Quick learner.
