Akers showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Fall Camp on December 15th, 2019. Strong Long Snapper with a nice, athletic frame. His ball is consistently in the low .8s and can dip into the .7s when he is really letting the ball fly out of his hands. His pop is solid and he is abel to reach back well. Love to see Akers widen out a bit so he is able to drive his thick chest through to the punter. Great upside on this Long Snapper that is always improving. Watch him at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Kyle Akers was solid during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. Thick and powerful Long Snapper that is an athlete in every sense of the word. He can pass an eyeball test quickly and I like the way he moves on his feet. Very good attitude and he is a coachable athlete. Hands are quick and they get through well. Love to see Kyle focus on gaining more speed with his massive lower half. If he can increase the timing of his legs and get more pop from his strong lower torso, he will be easily snapping in the .7s at the fall camps and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Akers had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Spring Camp on April 14th, 2019. I really like his overall frame. Akers can pass an eyeball test quickly and he is able to move well on his feet. His balance is good and his hands are quick. Very strong Long Snapper with good power. Need to see Akers focus on not thinking so much and making sure he is explosive and quick. Getting his super strong lower half fully involved will push his speeds into the .7s by VEGAS XXXIV in May. Great upside and potential on Akers. Massive jump in the rankings.

Akers was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. He is built well and is strong. He can move on his feet. His hands are quick and he gets the ball out of the gate well. Like to see Akers not think so much pre-snap. Just get down, get set and let it rip! He is strong enough and his hands are quick enough, that he can easily get more speed on the ball by using his whole body. Slow motion drills will help a ton to get his strong lower half fully involved to gain more overall speed on the ball. He can already hit in the high .7s and that is with barely using any of his lower half. Imagine what will happen when his strong legs are locked! Keep an eye on this kid at VEGAS XXXIII and beyond.
