Rhodes had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in TX on June 14th, 2020. The kid is like a machine, a Long Snapping machine. Each snap is very close to the same ball over and over. It would be boring for the average person to watch but it is glorious to me. Form is great and his spiral is tight. I would love to see Rhodes focus on snapping the ball a bit harder at all times to raise his speed up just a tad. Excellent hard working Long Snapper.
Rhodes was extremely impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 17, 2019. He is, easily, one of the most accurate and consistent Long Snappers in his class. Rhodes is like a machine snapping the ball to the punter. He made it deep into the finals and was literally inches from winning the whole camp (he won the summer camp just a couple months ago!). His frame is solid, his snap speeds are always right in the mid .7s. Locking down his spiral will be the key to earning the 5th star. Rhodes is very, very good and should be able to earn a TOP 12 Camp Invite at VEGAS XXXV in January.
Rhodes was fantastic at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in TX on June 29th and ended up winning the overall competition! Easily one of the best Long Snappers in his class all day long. His ball was rocketing back to the punter with times in the .7s all day long. His hands are quick and the ball jumps out of the gate well. The more accurate Rhodes gets with his punt snaps, the higher he goes up. Great talent that has improved a ton over the past year. Definitely one to watch. Great attitude.
Rhodes was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on April 7th, 2019. Type of Long Snapper that can catch a groove and flat out dominate his class. Starting form is superb and he is using his whole body really well. Rhodes can rip the ball back to the punter and easily snaps, at times, a D1 ball right now. There is no doubt in my mind he can snap at the next level. Locking down his release point to pump his accuracy and RSI at VEGAS XXXIV in May could easily make Rhodes leave holding a TOP 12 camp invite. Keep a very close eye on Rhodes. Massive jump in the rankings and well deserved.
Rhodes was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on April 29th, 2018. Thick and strong Long Snapper with an athletic frame. Good starting form and he is using his ower half really well. The pop Rhodes gets already is very ipressive for his age. Love to see him focus on getting all the way back instead of up and back. Going up first will slow the ball down and cause it to die about 3/4 of the way back. Also, making sure Rhodes is not thinking too much will benefit a ton. Great upside.
