Westfelt did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. Strong Long Snapper that is very consistent. Each and every snap is the same. It is almost like watching a broken film. Put it this way, he hit .79 four times in a row. Form is great and he snaps with solid power. The harder Westfelt snaps the ball, the faster he will snap the ball at VEGAS XXXV in January. Love his accuracy and consistency.
Westfelt did really well during the 2019 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Smooth Long Snapper that snaps a really catchable ball. Form is excellent and he is able to use all of his body really well. Consistency improved greatly from the spring to the summer and he continues to impress me. Love when he trusts his body and just rips it back to the punter. Great attitude and he will easily be able to snap at the next level.
Westfelt proved that he has been working at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. His hands are absolute rockets and the ball jumps out of the gate like an absolute champ. Watching him explode out of his stance is tremendous! Once Westfelt locks down his overall consistency of his snapping motion, he will not miss the punter and will be much more accurate. He might have the most upside of his group in GA. When he is on, he is VERY on. Be sure to watch Westfelt at VEGAS XXXIV in May.
Westfelt was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Good balance and he is able to move pretty well on his feet. Loved the way he rips the ball back as he reaches back really well. Form and snapping motion are almost perfect. Lowering his butt just a tad will increase his overall speed and really smooth out his snapping motion. Long, athletic frame with great upside. Potential is off the charts.
