    Player Review

Halkyard showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. He has a great frame with tons of room to put on some good size over the next couple of years. Love when Halkyard gets fully set as that will increase his accuracy and spiral. His timing is just tad off where his upper body is slightly quicker than his lower half. Fixing this (slow motion drills will help) will really help out the consistency of his speed. He looked very good in the Midwest and could’ve won the whole thing. If Halkyard snaps the way I know he can at VEGAS XXXIII, he could easily find himself with a TOP 12 Camp invite.

Halkyard was solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Super long athlete that snaps a smooth ball and moves really well on his feet. Almost poetic to watch him snap and move. He has a frame that can easily put on another fifty pounds over the next couple of years to make himself a true Long Snapping recruit. Big fan of his attitude that I am always smiling and wanting to get better. His follow through is off the charts and once his long legs get fully involved, he will be able to easily snap sub .75 by the fall camps and definitely by VEGAS XXXIII in January. I am so pumped about the potential of Halkyard. I am telling you, keep a very close eye on this Long Snapper from the Midwest.

Halkyard did well at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. One of the smoothest Long Snappers in his class. His follow through is incredible as he practically hands the ball to the punter. Lean frame and has the ability to move well on his feet. Making sure he puts on some size over the next couple of years and using all of his lower body will push Halkyard way up the rankings. Potential is off the charts for Halkyard.

Halkyard was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in IL on April 7th, 2018. One of the smoothest Long Snappers in attendance, his ball practically floats, at a quick pace, back to the punter. Very easy snaps to catch and every punter will love him. Reaches back with his follow through so well that it looks like he is practically handing the ball to the punter. If Halkyard can get his legs fully involved, he will easily be sub .75 by VEGAS XXXII in May. Ball is quick and his potential is off the charts. Slow motion drills will help a ton to lock down his muscle memory to get his snapping motion smoothed out and get him using his whole body. Potential is off the charts.
