    Player Review

Barnes had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in IL on April 7th, 2018. Very athletic Long Snapper that moved very well on his feet and left no doubt he can be a factor on the punt coverage team for his high school and beyond. Starting form is good and he can snap the ball sub .80 on a very consistent basis. Barnes is using his body well and follows through nicely. Love to see Barnes focus on not adjusting his left ring and pinky finger right before he snaps the ball as that will be a “tell” for the defenders. Kid is very good and I am excited to see him at VEGAS XXXII in May.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.

2018 IL Spring Camp RSI: 18.18
