Declan was terrific at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 27th, 2019. He has a very nice frame and can pass for a college Long Snapper right now, let alone in a couple of years. Ball is strong and powerful. His RSI is alwasy solid and easily in the double digits. Very good attitude and Declan has all of the tools to be one of the greats in his class and beyond. If he snaps the way I know he can at VEGAS XXXV in January, there is no doubt he picks up a TOP 12 Camp Invite.

Declan Cappasola was great during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He is a really smooth Long Snapper that snaps a very catchable ball. No punter should never have an issues catching a snap from Declan. Hard working Long Snapper that is never stagnant. Always improving. The harder he snaps, the better Declan does with his snapping. No doubt that Declan has  all of the tools to be the top Long Snapper in his class and beyond. Watch him very closely at the fall camps and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

2019 Spring Arizona Camp - Camp Champion

Declan proved that he is the real deal at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Arizona on March 31, 2019. He is absolutely automatic with his locations and does it while throwing one of the prettiest balls that you will see. He is a textbook example of using elbow drive effectively to create torque and RPMs.  As Declan continues to snap the ball with more power and nears the sub .75 mark on a consistent basis, he could very easily find himself in the top 10. Look out for Declan to make some serious noise at his next Rubio Long Snapping event.

Cappasola did really well at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. He is a strong Long Snapper with really powerful hands. Like to see him lower his butt a bit to get his back to parallel which will allow him to use even more of his lower half. On that note, he is WELL beyond his years on how well he is using his legs right now. His pop is excellent and the ball can really get moving. Need to see him not hitch at all and definitely focus on increasing his overall athleticism. Once he improves his footwork, this kid could end up dominating his class. Easily.

Declan was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in AZ on March 25, 2018. Good starting form and he is using his lower body very well for his age. Speeds are good and he can already hit sub .80 when he gets his body going straight back instead of up and then back. The more he drives is upper body through, the more his speeds will be sub .80 and his accuracy will be strong enough to get into the finals. This kid is good and headed towards great. Keep a very close eye on him at VEGAS XXXII in May. Watch him.
